Help I am drowning!
That’s right; I am drowning in a sink hole filled with a frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter. Yes, you guessed it…I am drowning in Santorum!

For those of you new to me, I am a very happily partnered gay resident trapped in Pennsylvania and continuously violated, demoralized, and devalued by not only our President, but by Rick “Man on Dog” Santorum.

I ask you, what could be worse than either of these idiots? I have an answer: the two of them together! Hmmm…I wonder who the pitcher is and who’s the catcher?

That’s another post! Back to the point.

Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum is up for reelection in 2006, and I read this morning that he has recruited Dumbya to help him on the campaign trail. I love this headline in the Philadelphia Enquirer: “Bush marks date in June for Santorum fund-raiser.” That sounds like an engagement I would like to see. Shades of a marriage proposal if you like?

Harkens back to the question I asked earlier…Anyway.

For those of you woefully unfamiliar with Senator Rick Santorum, he is one of the most fundamentally conservative homo-phobic haters out there holding public office.

He has authored a litany of hate filled sound bites, speeches, opinions and the like. He is the poster child of the 700 Club (you know, the organization giving out free "man + woman = marriage" bumperstickers), the religious right as a political establishment, and short-sighted Americans who don’t understand the purest of intentions of love and marriage.

He unapologetically screams to the rafter in support of the “sanctity of marriage” without offering a single factual statement to support his claims of sanctity, and totally ignoring the civil constructs of the instituion. He is a liar, a deliberate and willing hater of the citizens of Pennsylvania and a man whose time has both come and gone!

If you are a resident of Pennsylvania, the time is now to start focusing the spotlight on Rick. We need to be vocal about his short comings. Even if you aren’t a resident, feel free to write to your papers, news media and the like. This man must be publicly and constantly exposed for what he is: an ignorant faith-based hater of the gay community and the Constituion of the United States of America! It is our job to keep him in the hot seat right up to the election.

If we hope to have marriage that is equal under the law, then his voice, influence, and power must be taken in this election cycle. So we must educate the Pennsylvania citizenry at every opportuity. Pennsylvania Pride must be restored! Silence is not an option.

He’s going down! He has pointed a hypocritical finger at the LGBT community over and over again. I am sure he will point that crooked angry little finger at us again in Bryn Mawr on June 14th. This time he will be "frothy" with the full support of the most unpopular President in the history of the United States. I think that support speaks directly to why we need to target Santorum at every opportunity; and there is no time like the present!

Mr Santorum, Gay Karma is like nothing you’ve ever seen, and she’s coming to settle your debt! I for one am going to hold the door open so she can come in and meet you face to face.
